The Fourth project, (Mapperley Park) the client wanted a contemporary home in a good area of Nottingham. The site gave him the first part of his brief; we then came in to fulfil the second part of his wishes. The original house was a bungalow incorporating a storage area and a garage below. We came up with the idea of the proposed staircase being the main aspect of the design and a glass wall to give the outside a hint of what's happening beyond the street scene.

The Fifth project was in Ravenshead, the existing dwelling was built in the nineteen sixties and would have been a cutting edge design at this time, we needed to bring it bang up to date and whilst still trying to retain the essence of the existing building.
